Yesterday MS Dhoni has stunned us by quitting as Indian ODI & T20 skipper just like he did with his test retirement in the mid tour of Australia, but the massive relief for the fans is he will continue with the team as a player. Dhoni was most successful Indian captain and a great leader who has always proved what needs to be done on the field for the country. He is first ever skipper who won all the major ICC trophy, 2007 World T20 in South Africa, 2011 World Cup in India, and the 2013 Champions Trophy in England.
Dhoni lead team India in 199 ODIs of which he won 110 and lost 74. He was captain in 72 T20Is, in which India won 41 and lost 28. He was also India’s most successful Test captain, with 27 wins, 18 defeats and 15 draws.
Here is how world reacted on Dhoni stepped down as a skipper of Team India:-

I think @msdhoni will go down as one of India’s most successful captains. He is a great man and still has a lot to offer Indian cricket.

Just like Dhoni even Dino and Tushar wanted to retire at the peak of their careers, but then they could not because of obvious reasons.
